GATE website has announced that a total of 12,00,728 candidates registered for GATE 2013 and 9,84,855 candidates (82.02%) appeared for the exam, of which 1,36,699 (13.88%) have qualified GATE 2013. Women candidates comprised 39.75% of the total registrants while Men candidates comprised 60.25%.
