AT 10.20 -- HIGH COURT PERMITS THE RELEASE OF THE VISWAROOPAM.

THE STAY IMPOSED BY GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU HAS BEEN DISMISSED BY THE HIGH COURT OF CHENNAI.,

THE FILM IS PERMITTED TO BE  RELEASED IN THE THEATRES ON 30TH JANUARY 2013.

LATEST NEWS 8.25 PM - JUDGMENT TO BE 

PRONOUNCED AT 10.00 PM TONIGHT.

According to the media reports, the Case against the Kamal starrer film viswaroopam is going on and the final out of the case is likely to be announced later at any moment.

As the Court proceedings are going in the High Court of Chennai, lot of Muslim leaders have gathered inside the High Court Campus to hear the latest info.

Tamil Nadu Lawyer says that if the film is released there are chances of communal violence in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Further, the Government lawyer said that lot of irregularities have been committed in getting certificate from the Censor Board.  


As against a team of 12 to 30 members, only a 5 member team viewed the film and issued certificate, which is against law, he added, according to media reports.

The certificate issued is not as per law, the government advocate said.
