The High Court of Madras, Chennai has stated that the new system of marks introduced by the Tamil Nadu MGR Medical University is not valid and directed the University to introduce the new system marks only after getting the approval of the Medical Council of India.

Consequent to the above directions, the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University is likely to publish the revised mark list on 26th November 2012.
