Mehdi Hassan Great Ghazal singer of Pakistan Passes Away
85 years old Mehdi Hassan a great ghazal singer of Pakistan passed away today due to lung failure. He was taking treatment for a protracted illness in a pirivate hospital in Karachi.
Mehdi Hassan a native of Rajasthan moved to Pakistan at the time of India Pakistan separation.
One report says he died of multiple organ failure. Anyhow it is a great loss to the music world of Ghazal. We mourn the demise of Mehdi Hassan with deep sorrow.
