The petition filed by Subramanian Swamy, Janata Party President seeking inclusion of P.Chidambaram in the 2G allocation case has been dismissed by the Special Central Bureau of Investigation Judge saying that the present Home Minister will not be investigated in the 2G case.
Shocked by this judgment, Swamy told media persons that he will appeal in the High Court for reconsidering the inclusion of P.Chidambaram in the 2G allocation case with appropriate evidences.
Congress leaders have welcomed the judgment and this judgment has come as a big relief to P.Chidambaram.
“It is a good judgement. It is a relief for the government. Someone was being unnecessarily prosecuted. I welcome the judgement,” Mukherjee told reporters during a visit to the Indian Statistical Institute.
