75years old Surinder Kaur Badal, wife of Parkas Singh Badal, Chiefminister of Punjab, passed away today in Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh PGIMER, where was admitted for treatment of cancer. She was battling with cancer for a long time.
Surinder Kaur Badal is survived by her son Sukhb ir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister and Preneet Kaur, daughter.
Her body is being taken to the native village for last rites. And the cremation will take place tomorrow, i.e.25th May 2011 in Badal village in Muktsar district of southwest Punjab.
